Over time, printed books and modern technologies diminished this communal practice, freezing stories in text and isolating readers from shared experiences. Inspired by the work of thinkers like Walter Benjamin, this project seeks to revive the dynamic, participatory nature of oral storytelling using AI technology. By leveraging real academic research on oral stories and AI, we aim to weave together narratives across times, geographies, and genres, reawakening the shared memory and collective imagination of communities. This is not just about generating stories but about rediscovering the profound connection that storytelling once created, bringing a modern voice to ancient traditions.
